Bhanu Seemar

Bhanu is a commercial litigation lawyer who has extensive experience working closely with counsel on a range of commercial law matters including contract disputes, insolvency disputes, consumer and franchise disputes, shareholder claims, financial services and regulatory enforcement matters, corporations law, and class action litigation. His experience working with counsel specialising in commercial law and class action litigation has provided him with valuable insight into high-level advocacy and the intricacies of trial preparation, evidentiary analysis, and court procedure.

In addition to his legal experience, Bhanu brings a practical commercial perspective through his background as an agribusiness proprietor, which has equipped him with strong commercial acumen and a firsthand understanding of the practical challenges faced by business owners, enabling him to better anticipate and respond to clients’ commercial objectives and legal needs.

Bhanu holds a Master of Criminology and a Juris Doctor, both with distinction from the University of Sydney. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi. 

His academic foundation, combined with his commercial and legal experience, underpins his pragmatic and intellectually rigorous approach to litigation and dispute resolution. He is committed to delivering precise, strategic legal solutions that align with his clients’ broader business goals.
