Yu Gao

Yu Gao holds a LL.B. degree from University of International Relations and a LL.M. degree from the University of Texas at Austin. He also graduated from the University of Sydney with a Juris Doctor degree. Yu Gao is admitted to practice law in Mainland China and New York State, and was admitted to practice law in New South Wales in 2025. 

Prior to joining Sunfield Chambers Solicitors & Associates, Yu Gao worked at three top-tier law firms based in Beijing, including two “Red Circle” law firms. His practice area was commercial litigation and arbitration, including investment and finance disputes, corporate disputes, securities disputes and other complex commercial disputes. Yu Gao was also an intern at a boutique law firm based in Singapore and another in Sydney.  

Yu Gao is a member of our commercial litigation team and is fluent in English and Mandarin. With his diverse legal education and professional background, Yu Gao is committed to assisting clients from various backgrounds in dealing with complex commercial disputes in Australia.
